Crisis Communications Service for School Districts

This service, available through Marquette-Alger RESA's partnership with the Donovan Group, provides school district leaders 24/7 access to crisis communication experts to assist with responding to urgent and crisis situations. The Donovan Group’s team helps districts gather the facts, determine who needs to be engaged first, and communicate quickly and accurately.

Through this service, school administrators, district leaders, and school communicators are able to connect with an experienced crisis communication professional 24 hours a day using a telephone hotline or designated email address. The crisis communication professional will guide the district through managing communication around the issue they are facing. 

ISDs who enroll will be provided 24/7/365 access to this crisis communications service not only for their organization, but for all of their constituent districts as well! 

The registration cost for an ISD for 2025-26 is $2,750. An ISD that registers provides 24/7 crisis communication support for its organization and all of its constituent districts for 2025-26, for FREE!

Crisis Communications Service Interest Form

Enrollment prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year is highly recommended.

If you are a local district in an ISD that has not enrolled in the crisis communications service, you will still have access to service. However, your district will be invoiced for accessing the service. Billing will be on a prorated, metered basis according to student population. The maximum bill to an individual LEA will be $2,750 per year.
